Luckybird is a boutique bakery specializing in handmade, indulgent cakes & confections for weddings, birthdays, special occasions & for everyday sweetness. Hand-crafted and bespoke, using the finest & freshest ingredients available.

(Right off the Montrose L stop, between Graham Ave. and Humboldt St.)

  • Made to order Cake Studio: Tuesday - Friday, by appointment & special orders only
  • Closed Mondays
  • Retail Bakery: Saturday - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Special order pick ups available Tuesday - Sunday.

The best way to reach us is by email to place an order. Cake orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. For larger orders, we ask for at least one week notice. All bookings are subject to availability.

We offer delivery throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan or pick up is available at our East Williamsburg storefront.

Bakery Storefront

Our weekend menu includes our rosewater scones, Belgian dark chocolate chip scones, savory biscuits, quiche, classic chocolate chip cookies with Maldon sea salt flakes, chocolate chunk brownies, and a rotating selection of whole cakes and cakes by the slice. We also have a full espresso bar featuring Toby’s Estate coffee and delicious cold brew.

Bespoke Cakes

Luckybird specializes in making cakes for any & every occasion. Often adorned with fresh flowers, organic berries, or exotic chocolates, our cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious.

To book a tasting please email Tastings happen Tuesday through Friday, by appointment, in the afternoon or early evening at our storefront in East Williamsburg. Tastings include a selection of four tasting cakes of your choosing from our menu. All tastings include a to go package to help make your decision in the days to come.

Our formal tastings are $75 per couple and usually last 30 - 45 minutes where we discuss flavors and aesthetics over cake! If you are interested in trying just one or two flavors you can order individual tasting cakes, too. They are $20 each and will leave you eating cakes for days. Or please stop by our shop on the weekend when we offer the largest variety of cake by the slice at $6.50 per slice.

Whether you’re planning a small intimate wedding or a huge celebration, we will work with you to create the perfect cake for your wedding day.

Specialty Gifts

Our gifts are packaged in beautiful wooden keepsake boxes adorned with fresh blooms or greens & filled with everything sweet: chocolate chunk brownies, brown butter blondies, walnut brittle, sea salt caramels, classic chocolate chip & spicy gingers to name a few. Email us for customs options!

Baking Classes

We are now hosting baking classes in our Bake Shop in East Williamsburg!

Her previous career in fashion has shaped her unique visual sensibility that she now brings to catering events, weddings, & intimate gatherings.

“I’ve been in love with baking since I was a little girl. I love creating salty or spicy updated versions of my childhood favorites. I have a huge sweet tooth myself & an incredible passion for feeding people desserts. With a vast repertoire at hand, some of the most fun is had collaborating with customers. Working with clients for their special day or night is my favorite thing to do.”
