Luckybird is a Brooklyn-based cake studio specializing in handmade, flavor-forward cakes for weddings, birthdays, special occasions & everyday celebrations. Each cake is made with the finest & freshest ingredients available and adorned with gorgeous fresh florals.
Special orders are available for pick up or delivery 6 days a week. Please email amy@luckybirdcakes.com with inquiries or to place an order. We are by appointment only and are not open for walk in service.

Window Service on the first Sunday of every month! Cake by the slice, mini cakes, chocolate chip cookies and our beloved rosewater scones. 10 a.m. till sold out! See you then! x
The best way to reach us with questions or to place an order is by email. Cake orders must be placed at least 1 week in advance. For larger orders, we ask for at least four weeks’ notice. Shorter turnaround times can sometimes be accommodated. All bookings are subject to availability.

We offer delivery throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan or pick up is available at our East Williamsburg storefront. Our delivery fee is based on distance from our shop. Email us for a quote.

We are lucky to have new cake orders coming in frequently. This means that sometimes we will reach production capacity, and we may not be able to add in any new orders. For single-tier cake orders, we ask for a minimum of 1 week’s notice, and for multi-tier cakes we ask for at least 4 week’s notice. Shorter turnaround times can sometimes be accommodated, but we are not always able to guarantee a quick turnaround. Thanks for all the cake love!

The best way to get started planning your wedding cake is with a cake tasting!
Cake tastings are $80 and include your choice of 4, 5-inch (2 layer) tasting cakes from our menu.
Tasting cakes can be picked up from our storefront, or delivery cost is based on distance. Once you have had a chance to taste your cakes, we would love to schedule a follow-up phone consultation to discuss flavors, servings, and aesthetics.
If you would prefer to try fewer than 4 cakes, you are welcome to order any number of tasting cakes for pick up at $25 per cake.

Amy Berger is the owner and self-taught baker behind Brooklyn’s favorite bakeshop, Luckybird.
Her previous career in fashion has shaped her unique visual sensibility that she now brings to catering events, weddings, & intimate gatherings.
“I’ve been in love with baking since I was a little girl. I love creating salty or spicy updated versions of my childhood favorites. I have a huge sweet tooth myself & an incredible passion for feeding people desserts. With a vast repertoire at hand, some of the most fun is had collaborating with customers. Working with clients for their special day or night is my favorite thing to do.”
